'LUCIFER AS A GIRL‘ is a poetic exploration of the female soul. The admiring observation of the bewitching antagonisms that form the spirit of a woman illustrates how a male character embraces his own female sides in the process. The video is a beacon for strong femininity, exchanging the genders in an alternate version of the tale of Orpheus and Eurydice. Hereby the woman becomes the heroine of the story saving the man from the claws of toxic masculinity.

'Lucifer as a girl' is a musical collaboration between the two artists and friends Lucy Dye and Jon Darc, who both share a feminist and queer background. Their ideals of gender equality and freedom of expression encouraged them to make an audio-visual project which would break up the stereotypes of the society they grew up in.

a breath of cigarettes and smoke
